they come to trust the old woman Hannah, who is in charge of their care.
From her, they learn the wisdom of Kallimos, and in time, they accept their
new life. Acceptance turns to loveso strong that when they are again
torn away, they suffer a spiritual breakdown. With help from Hannah, Bill
tries to bring the wisdom of Kallimos into his work, only to learn that it
won't be as easy as he thought.
